I'm from the good old 209! Manteca raised. Yes the name of my town means lard! Met my true love moved to Concord, CA... decided he wasn't my true love after all and moved back to Manteca, CA where I am currently having the time of my life!! I have great friends who are mostly guys but I consider them my family! I'm "one of the boys" and as much as it sucks sometimes it is so much easier to get along with guys!
Got interested in UFC when my friends used to invite me to their fight night bbq's. Started watching the fights and I enjoyed it. It just happened to be at the same time that Nathan was on TUF. I started watching mma stuff to learn more... watched TUF and realized that Nathan was from the 209. Gotta watch and root for the hometown kid! It made the show more interesting.... Everything took off from there. I became more and more interested... maybe addicted :)
By no means am I an expert but I love to watch, read, listen to anything mma. Now I argue with my friends over fights and who won or should have won! I just went to my first fight... thanks Marcus, the only one who didn't flake! IT was awesome! Nick Diaz and Jake Shields kicked ass!
